Today marks an extremely important moment in the republican race to be the party`s nominee in the presidential election. Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina all go to the polls and a total of 358 delegates are up for grabs.
The most vital contests of the day are considered to be in Florida and Ohio which are designated as winner-take-all states. In Florida 99 delegates are available and 66 in Ohio. According to the latest polls Donald Trump is leading in both states, although in Ohio only by a narrow margin over the governor John Kasich.
The latest indications are that Trump has a wide margin over his opponents in Florida.
