Trump Results Wisconsin April 5 2016




Today the electorate of Wisconsin will go to the polls to choose between the 3 remaining candidates.

Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich will compete in the remaining states and according to the latest polls in the Badger State the real battle will be between Trump and Cruz.

Emerson Poll (March 24-April 3) Sample Size 569, Margin of Error 4.1%

Ted Cruz         40%
Donald Trump  35%
John Kasich    21%

Most polls conducted within the last week show Cruz with a 1-10% lead over Trump and Kasich in third place.

Ted Cruz Polls April 4 2016 Wisconsin





Ted Cruz is up in the state of Wisconsin according to the latest polls.

CBS News/You Gov Poll, March 29-April 1, Sample Size 675, Margin of Error 5.7%

Ted Cruz          43%
Donald Trump   37%
John Kasich     18%

Fox Business Poll, March 28-30, Sample Size 742, Margin of Error 3.5%

Ted Cruz          42%
Donald Trump   32%
John Kasich     19%

Tomorrow voters from in the Badger State will have the opportunity to select their favored candidate in the Republican race and as the only Primary taking place, it has earned a lot of media attention.

Prior to the last few weeks businessman Donald Trump was leading here, however Cruz appears to have benefited from the departure of Marco Rubio from the race and recent controversies.

Whoever wins will take all 42 delegates and in what is sure to be a dramatic day.

The latest polls show Donald Trump in trouble in Wisconsin, having fallen behind Ted Cruz, however "The Donald" as he is known by his supporters, maintains a strong lead in the state of New York, which has its Primary on April 19.

The more urgent concern for Trump is winning in Wisconsin and he probably would have counted on doing so until the last week or so. Ted Cruz has been gradually extending his lead and looks to be the favorite, although the pollsters have gotten it wrong various times during the current campaign.

Trump`s popularity in New York however seems to be imperious

With only one day remaining until the electorate in Wisconsin goes to the polls to vote in the Republican Primary, it is decision time.

For months real estate mogul Donald Trump had been leading in the state, however, new polls suggest that he has now been eclipsed by Ted Cruz since other competitors have withdrawn from the race.

If we examine the RealClearPolitics average from March 24 through April 1 we can see clearly that Cruz has the advantage

Donald Trump Polls April 2 2016, Wisconsin, New York







Donald Trump, the real estate mogul that has sparked controversy in this year`s republican race, continues to do well according to polls, although there are some indications that he is behind Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the state of Wisconsin.

In New York however it`s a totally different story with Trump dominating

In New York 95 delegates are available and it is a winner-take-most state.

There are now only 3 competitors left in the republican race, businessman Donald Trump, Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Ohio Governor John Kasich.

The 3 men will now do battle in the remaining primaries, starting with Wisconsin on April 5 where 42 delegates are on offer in a winner-take-all format.

Donald Trump has been leading in the polls for months in the state although following the suspension of Marco Rubio's campaign the race seems to have tightened and many polls have Ted Cruz leading.

Donald Trump took to the stage for yet another event in this long primary season. "The Donald" touched down in Appleton Wisconsin and talked to the crowds that had gathered at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in order to hear him speak.

According to the latest polls from the state of Wisconsin Texas Senator Ted Cruz has begun to gain the upper hand and now leads Donald Trump.

Ted Cruz         36.5%

Donald Trump  32.7%

John Kasich    21%

Should these numbers be repeated on election day then Cruz will take the 42 delegates in the state due to the fact that Wisconsin is a winner-take-all state.

The next state to vote after Wisconsin will be New York where 95 delegates are available and polls show Trump with a massive lead.
