Protests Against Donald Trump November 2016 Videos

Following a surprising victory for Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election, reports of sporadic violence were reported in different areas of the country, most extreme in nature in Oakland, Los Angeles and Portland Oregon.

This Wednesday "walk outs" have been reported at different schools and universities throughout the nation and protests are planned later this evening in different cities.

The election this year has been a very contentious affair and it was likely that whoever won, the other side would not be happy about it and take to the streets to make their opposition known.

The big day has finally arrived, the presidential election will take place today and after a campaign full of scandals and accusations, it is the voters who will have the final say.

Over the last few weeks controversy has never been far away from either candidate, as they fought to take the lead in electoral polls.

New polls in the United States continue to show that Democratic Candidate Hillary Clinton is leading Donald Trump by a large margin, in fact the RealClearPolitics average shows her up by 4.9%

The second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton takes place on Sunday October 9 at Washington University in St Louis. 

To say that the presidential debates have been one of the most anticipated moments of this election campaign would be a massive understatement, the first event which took place at Hofstra University in New York attracted a combined audience of 100 million people. 

In a poll following the debate which took place on September 26, 62% of respondents claimed that they believe that Hillary Clinton beat the real estate mogul in their first face face of this election.

At what Time does the First Debate Trump vs Clinton Begin

The first highly anticipated presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is scheduled to take place on Monday September 26 at Hosfra University, New York.

Beginning at 9pm ET, the event is expected to draw near record numbers of viewers, due in large part to the unpredictable nature of Trump, rarely if ever in modern times have we seen such a candidate.

Lester Holt from NBC will moderate the first debate which will last 90 minutes divided in six 15 minute segments with questions posed by Holt.

Trump has suggested that the debates will be rigged against him, "it`s a phony system, they are all democrats (referring to the moderators), it`s a very unfair system"

Democratic Exit Polls New York April 19 2016 Clinton, Sanders

The big day has finally arrived, today is the New York Primary for the Democratic Party and we are all anxiously awaiting the dramatic face off between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

For months Clinton has been dominating the polls in the northern state, far ahead of Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders, however in the last few weeks there has been some indications that Sanders may be narrowing the gap. That said, Hillary Clinton remains a strong favorite in the state.

Clinton currently holds a very large lead in the delegate count mainly due to the fact that she was overwhelming support from superdelegates, who can vote whichever way they please, however in a recent interview Sanderes claimed that he was still confident of victory because he believes these superdelegates will change allegiances as he continues to win states across the country.

Donald Trump Results New York Primary April 19 2016

Donald Trump`s unique style and rhetoric around controversial topics such as immigration has added extra spice to this year`s Republican Primaries. However it has also lead to a deep divide in the party, with some republicans starting a "Never Trump" campaign in which they pledge not to vote for him even if he is eventually chosen as the Party`s nominee.

On the other hand polls show that despite a rather high unfavorability rating, Trump`s core supporters are the most loyal amongst any candidate. This means that whatever the outcome, if Trump turns out being the overall winner in the Primaries, or if he loses in a contested convention despite having obtained more votes, some part of the party will be greatly disenfranchised.

The State of New York goes to the polls today and is seen as a vital test as to whether or not Trump can obtain the delegates he requires. According to recent polls he is a long way ahead of his rivals, Ted Cruz and John Kasich, who are gripped in a tight battle for second place.

On the Republican side entrepreneur Donald Trump is the clear favorite heading into the Primary, given that New York is his home state and current polls have him topping 50% of the vote.

Should Trump win by a large margin in all the congressional districts then he has a very good chance of winning the majority of the 95 delegates that the state offers.

Should "The Donald" indeed triumph then it will certainly be seen as a boost for his campaign after resounding defeats in Utah and Wisconsin to Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

Donald Trump, who is currently leading the Republican Race will face off against Ted Cruz and John Kasich in his home state of New York on April 19. Many commentators see Trump as the massive favourite going into the contest and polls support this conclusion.

In fact such is the businessman`s support in the northern state that the majority of recent polls are showing him easily exceeding 50% of the vote. Should this be reflected in the results and Trump gains the majority of support in all districts then he would win almost all of the delegates that are on offer, a total of 95.

Should "The Donald" secure victory by as large a margin as these polls suggest then it will be a welcome return to winning ways for him, having been soundly beaten in Wisconsin and after Cruz took all of the delegates in Colorado in somewhat controversial circumstances.

There is now less than a week left until the republican primary in New York. It is the only state that votes on April 19, which makes sure that it will receive a large amount of media attention.

Donald Trump has won the most states hitherto, however his momentum has been arrested somewhat by Ted Cruz victories in Utah and Wisconsin, as well as Colorado where Cruz won all 34 delegates without a popular vote.

New York Republican GOP Polls April 14 2016

The Republican Primary season is reaching crunch point as various key states go to the polls. Defeats for frontrunner Donald Trump in Wisconsin and Colorado have lowered expectations that Trump will obtain the 1,237 delegates he requires and thus heightening the possibility of a contested convention.

Cruz took all 34 delegates in the state of Colorado which has a complex system and a popular vote didn`t take place, invoking the fury of Trump, "This was a political hack deal, like so much of our country. This is what our country's all about I guess" he complained.

The next state that will go to the polls is New York, where Trump is expected to do well. In his campaign events in the state he has been relentlessly attacking Cruz for a comment he made in one of the televised debates where he said Trump represented New York Values, which was done with "scorn" according to the businessman.

Trump has repeatedly railed against what he views as a corrupt system, which has earned him some powerful enemies from within the establishment, spawning a movement of republicans who call themselves "Never Trump" indicating they will not vote for the real estate mogul, even in the general election.

After 3 months of what can only be described as a hectic Republican Primary process, we now head to New York.

On April 19 New Yorkers will cast their vote, choosing between the three remaining candidates, Donald Trump, Ted Cuz and John Kasich, being Trump`s home state he is expected to do very well and this is being born out by the latest polls which have him well ahead of his two adversaries.

The recent controversy in Colorado over how delegates are awarded has left many republican voters there infuriated and has only served to add extra spice to the campaign. The state, which has a complicated process for allocating delegates, awarded all 34 to Cruz. Trump couldn`t contain his frustration with the system and lashed out stating "This was a political hack deal, like so much of our country. This is what our country's all about I guess". Every victory for Cruz seems to edge us closer to a contested convention, which would be interesting to say the least.

In New York, however, even with a full week to go until the election, it seems almost impossible to imagine how anyone other than Trump has a chance of winning. The current RealClearPolitics average (March 29-April 10) has the real estate mogul on 53.6%, Followed by Kasich on 21% and 18.6% for Cruz.

Should these numbers hold then Trump has a very good chance of winning the majority of the 95 delegates that New York has on offer.

The next stop on the Democratic Primary campaign is New York, where polls show that Hillary Clinton has the advantage. She currently leads Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders by 54-40, a significant lead no doubt, however the gap between the two contenders has tightened since the end of March.

Polls at the end of March showed Clinton leading by more than 30 points, however, following a string of Sanders Victories it would appear that his campaign has gathered momentum.

New York Republican GOP Polls April 7 2016 Trump, Cruz

On Tuesday Texas Senator Ted Cruz scored a crushing win in the State of Wisconsin, picking up 48.2% of the vote, compared with 35.1% for Donald Trump. John Kasich came in third with 14.1%.

This now makes it even harder for Trump to obtain the 1,237 delegates that he requires in order to be confirmed as the Republican Partys nominee.
