Vermont is one of the smallest states in the country, with only 3 electoral votes available. It is considered a "safe state" for Hillary Clinton as the democrats have won the last 6 presidential elections here having previously been solid republican.
It is expected to be one of the first states to declare its results after polls close this November 8, and as soon as the exit polls are available, they will be published here.
