Miami Dade County Presidential Election Results 2016

The big day has finally arrived and we are currently waiting for the first results from the 2016 Presidential Election to be announced.

As many know, Florida is a key state in any national election and since 2012 has been allocated 29 electoral college votes due to demographic factors. An increase of 2 from 2008 when it was assigned just 27.

In Miami-Dade county there is a clean democrat leaning electorate, in 2012 race when Obama ended up beating Mitt Romney by 50%-49.1% on the state level, however, vital to this victory was Obama`s superior level of triumph in Miami where he amassed 61.6% of the vote compared to 37.9% for Romney.

As soon as the first results from Miami-Dade are available they will be published here.
