The presidential race, one of the most exciting in many years, appears to be tightening, as Hillary Clinton`s lead over republican candidate Donald Trump has shortened to a mere 2 points.
A new poll released by CBS News/New York Times shows Clinton on 46% with Trump on 44%.
In a four way race between Clinton, Trump, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein then Clinton and Trump are tied on 42% each among likely voters.
This new poll comes as the Clinton campaign has fallen into disarray after a video emerged on Sunday of the democratic candidate collapsing as she left the event for the ceremony to the victims of September 11. In addition to this Trump also appears to be surging in the key swing states of Florida and Ohio.
The poll was undertaken between 9-13 September of 1,753 adults nationwide, including 1,433 registered voters with a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
