Poll Trump vs Clinton Arizona October 2016 Who is Winning

Arizona is considered a solidly republican state, in fact the democrats have only won one presidential election here since 1948. This said the polls are currently indicating quite a close race.

Trump has the advantage there is no doubt about that and due to history, it would be safe to assume that "The Donald" as his supporters know him, will triumph here this year.

However according to the RealClearPolitics average between August 17- September 8 Trump has an advantage of 1.6%.

Donald Trump   41.6%
Hillary Clinton   40.0%

It remains to be seen what will happen on election day, however this advantage is less than the margin of victory of McCain in 2008 (+8.5) and Romney in 2012 (+9.1).

Latest Poll Trump vs Clinton October 4 2016

Who is currently ahead in the polls? Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton? Many polls are showing vastly different levels of support for each candidate but according to a running average of the last 10 polls calculated by the site RealClearPolitics, it is the democratic candidate who has the edge over the real estate mogul turned politician.

RealClearPolitics Average (Based on polls conducted between September 15-29)

Hillary Clinton   47.3%
Donald Trump   44.4%

This is a lead of 2.9% which is very significant in a presidential race, although many commentators have speculated that the focus that Trump is putting on certain swing states could make for a much closer race than many expect.

Ohio for example is a state that Trump must win if he is to have a chance to win the White House, and the last 5 reliable polls in that state show Trump with an advantage of between 1-5%. Ohio was won by the democrats in the 2012 election.

Florida is another must win for Trump but polls there show Trump and Clinton pretty much neck and neck, if we take an average of the last 6 reliable polls in the state, Clinton has a lead of just 1.2%, although this has fluctuated wildly in the last few weeks, with some surveys showing a lead of up to 4 points for the republican contender.

Poll Trump vs Clinton Today September 17 2016

The presidential race, one of the most exciting in many years, appears to be tightening, as Hillary Clinton`s lead over republican candidate Donald Trump has shortened to a mere 2 points.

A new poll released by CBS News/New York Times shows Clinton on 46% with Trump on 44%.

In a four way race between Clinton, Trump, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein then Clinton and Trump are tied on 42% each among likely voters.

This new poll comes as the Clinton campaign has fallen into disarray after a video emerged on Sunday of the democratic candidate collapsing as she left the event for the ceremony to the victims of September 11. In addition to this Trump also appears to be surging in the key swing states of Florida and Ohio.

The poll was undertaken between 9-13 September of 1,753 adults nationwide, including 1,433 registered voters with a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

Poll Trump vs Clinton September 9 2016

Donald Trump continues to close the gap with Hillary Clinton, according to the RealClearPolitics average, he is now just 2.8% behind.

RealClearPolitics Average

Hillary Clinton   45.6%
Donald Trump   42.8%

Usually at this stage in a presidential race, the numbers start to tighten, so it is to be expected that the race will end up being closer than some of the polls have suggested.

Although Clinton has been leading in most polls, some people have questioned the veracity of the methods used, as some samples have been +15 democrat, which gives a skewed vision of the support of both candidates they claim.

One of the vital aspects of this election campaign may well be the debates, with record numbers expected to tune in. The first debate will take place on September 26.

Latest Polls in Pennsylvania September 2016

A new poll out from the state of Pennsylvania shows that Hillary Clinton has a 7 point lead in the key state.

Trump has invested a lot of resources and has constantly said that he believes he can win there, Pennsylvania has not been won by the Republicans for the last 20 years.

The survey of likely voters conducted by The Franklin and Marshall College shows Clinton on 47% with Trump on 40%.

In the case of a four person contest, Clinton`s lead shrinks to just 3%, with the ex First Lady on 41% compared to 38% for Trump, Libertarian Gary Johnson on 7% and Green Party Jill Stein at on 2%. An interesting fact is that 13% of voters remain undecided at this late stage, meaning that the presidential debates could have an effect on which way the state votes.

There is a clear gender divide between Clinton and Trump`s supporters, Trump leads among white men by 41-38 whereas Clinton leads among white women 45-38.

Polls Trump vs Clinton September 1 2016

It is hard to believe that there are still more than 2 months are left until the presidential election takes place. It seems like forever ago that the primary campaign begun with a multitude of candidates, especially on the Republican side.

Now, however, we are down to the last two candidates, representatives of the major parties. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will go head to head to see who becomes the most powerful person on earth, will it be the real estate developer who is new to politics, or will the former first lady and secretary of state become the first female president in the country`s history.

If we look at recent polling, Hillary Clinton holds a significant advantage over her republican opponent.

RealClearPolitics Average (18-30 August)

Hillary Clinton   46.7%
Donald Trump   41.4%

Latest Polls Trump vs Clinton August 27 2016

Polling data collected over the last few weeks continues to show Hillary Clinton with a substantial lead over Republican candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump.

The only reliable poll during the month of august that will bring any cheer to the Trump camp is one conducted by LA Times/USC which shows him tied with Clinton, all others show Clinton with a lead of between 3-10 points.

RealClearPolitics (average based on all reliable polls conducted between 1-24 August)

Hillary Clinton  47.7%
Donald Trump  41.7%

Clinton leading by 6 points.

It must be noted that many questions have been raised by certain sections of Trump supporters as to the reliability of the polling methods employed as of late, claiming them to be heavily weighted in favor of democrat voters.

Trump no doubt received a significant bounce following the RNC in July which actually showed him leading nationally in many polls, however since the DNC took place he seems to have fallen away and been unable to close the gap once more.

Latest Polls Donald Trump Hillary Clinton June 7 2016

The latest polling data shows that the race between the two likely contenders in the 2016 presidential election race has become somewhat tighter compared to just a few weeks ago.

Controversial businessman Donald Trump, whose candidacy was branded a "joke" and "publicity stunt" by many commentators is now being taken seriously by his opponents after he crushed his adversaries in the Republican Primaries, installing himself as the party`s presumptive nominee.

On the democrat side, Clinton has pretty much tied up the nomination, largely due to her greater popularity with the superdelegates compared to her rival Bernie Sanders. Barring some last moment massive switch of allegiance of the superdelegates, then we are looking at a Trump-Clinton showdown.

According to the latest average of polls on the site RealClearPolitics Hillary Clinton leads Trump by 1.5 points, 43.8%-42.3%. Compare this to April where the former First Lady and Secretary of State was enjoying a ten point lead.

Poll South Carolina February 18 2016 Trump

A new poll conducted by NBC/WSJ shows Ted Cruz beating Trump nationally by 2%, the businessman had previously won 31 consecutive national polls, many by a very wide margin. This time however, the Texas Senator obtained 28% of the vote and Donald Trump only 26%.

At almost the same time a poll came out from Quinnipiac University showing Trump at 39% followed by Rubio with 19% and Cruz with 18%. It would appear that the NBC/WSJ poll is an aberration rather than a new trend, in any case we will need another independent poll in order to ascertain the veracity of this information.

The disparity between those two polls is quite stunning, Trump down 2% according to NBC and up 20 points according to Quinnipiac, the argument appears to be that the NBC poll was conducted exclusively after the CBS debate in South Carolina whereas other polls comprise of some overlap of before and after the debate (since which his support has supposedly collapsed).

It is very hard to believe that Trump`s support has evaporated overnight, especially when his supporters tend to be the most loyal and have stuck with him even during the incessant media barrage of media attacks.

New Poll South Carolina GOP 15 February 2016

According to a recent CBS News Poll conducted online Donald Trump maintains his solid lead in South Carolina. This will be a worry for the other candidates, despite disparaging campaign ads and throwing everything possible at the business mogul, nothing has eroded his support base.

In fact according to the people surveyed Trumps lead has in fact widened, now polling 42% support compared with 20% for Cruz and 15% for Rubio.

Realclearpolitics has an average of recent polls and it shows Trump with a massive 20% lead, followed again by Cruz y Rubio. It remains to be seen whether these numbers will translate into votes but one thing is sure, if they do Trump will again deliver a crushing victory, just as he did in New Hampshire.
