Republican vs Democrat Polls August 2016

A new poll conducted by FOX News shows that following the DNC would appear to indicate that Hillary Clinton has experienced a large bounce showing her up 10 points.

Trump`s campaign chairman Paul Manafort being interviewing on "CBS This Morning" downplayed the significance of the poll, saying that the drop "was expected". "It depends on which poll you look at. We feel like in another week or so, the polls are going to even out,", "We always thought we had a bounce and knew the Democrats would have a bounce. And now you see a situation in what looks like an uneven field but in two weeks we think that’s gonna even out if we are out there on our message, which we will be" he continued.

It should be noted that in the brief interlude between the RNC and DNC polls indicated that Trump had experienced a "Convention bounce", leading Clinton in most polls.

Results Super Tuesday Georgia March 1 2016 Republican

Georgia will be one of the states that vote in the republican primaries on March 1. It is considered extremely important as 76 delegates are available and could give us an indication as to who will win the nomination.

A recent poll conducted by WSJ/NBC shows that businessman and current republican frontrunner Donald Trump is leading in the state with 30% support. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are tied in second place on 23% and in turn Kasich and Carson are tied a long way back on 9%.

It must be noted that this is the poll with the lowest margin of advantage for Trump and the RealClearpolitics average actually has Trump leading by 14.4% on 36.2% with Ted Cruz narrowly beating Rubio with 21.8%.

As soon as the first results come in from the state of Georgia they will be published on this site.

New Fox Poll Republican Primary 8 January 2016

A new poll dated January 8 is continues to show Donald Trump dominating the field for the republican nomination with Ted Cruz holding steady in second place.

Trump leads with an impressive 35% compared to 20% for Cruz. The full results are as follows:

Donald Trump 35%

Ted Cruz 20%

Marco Rubio 13%

Ben Carson 10%

Jeb Bush 4%

Carly Fiorina 3%

Chris Christie 2%

John Kasich 2%

Rand Paul 2%

As the Iowa Caucus draws near without doubt the rhetoric and personal attacks among candidates will be ratcheted up to fever pitch. As recently as a few weeks ago many polls were showing a clear lead for Cruz in key state, however according to recent surveys his advantage seems to be dwindling and the gap between him and Trump narrowing significantly. RealClearPolitics average has the lead at a mere 2.5%. In New Hampshire the situation is quite different with trump having a healthy lead.
