At What Time is The Super Moon Today December 3 2017

The only "Supermoon" of 2017 will occur this Sunday December 3.

People from all around the world will be able to appreciate this celestial phenomena that will grace our skies this weekend.

This occurs due to the fact that the lunar orbit is elliptic and when its maximum approach coincides with a full moon, we are the honored recipients of a "Supermoon".

This astronomical process causes our natural satellite to appear about 12-14% larger than normal, granting a fine spectacle for seasoned stargazers and novices alike.

This November 14, we will have to opportunity to observe a very interesting astronomical event.

The "supermoon" occurs when a full moon coincides with the closest point between the earth and our natural satellite, making it appear bigger and brighter than usual.

Although this is quite a common phenomena (in fact there will be 3 such events in 2016, one already occurred in October and one more to come on December 13), what sets the one on November 14 apart is that it will be the brightest since 1948.

It can be viewed best in places where the horizon is visible and in an area with low light pollution and using binoculars.

The second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton takes place on Sunday October 9 at Washington University in St Louis. 

To say that the presidential debates have been one of the most anticipated moments of this election campaign would be a massive understatement, the first event which took place at Hofstra University in New York attracted a combined audience of 100 million people. 

In a poll following the debate which took place on September 26, 62% of respondents claimed that they believe that Hillary Clinton beat the real estate mogul in their first face face of this election.

With the second presidential debate approaching and polls still tight, many undecided voters are looking to make up their minds based on what they see when the event takes place at Washington University, St Louis.

The first debate took place at Hofstra University, New York and touched on a wide range of issues, from security and foreign policy to the personal temperament of the candidates. This event which took place on Setember 26 which watched by some 100 million people on television and social media, eliciting a barrage of both positive and negative comments about both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

When Will Hurricane Matthew hit Georgia ?

With less than a week left until the first presidential debate takes place between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton, nerves are being frayed.

It has been reported by The Washington Times that Hillary Clinton is preparing obsessively for the debates, pouring over politicy papers and readying herself for anything that the boisterous businessman can throw her way.

Trump on the other hand is reportedly taking a more relaxed approach, meeting informally with his advisors for Sunday lunch where they chat over possible attacks that he can land on Clinton.

The debate is scheduled to being at 9pm ET, this will make it 6pm in California.

Lester Holt from NBC will moderate this first debate, which over 100 million Americans are expected to watch.

Vice Presidential Debate Pence vs Kaine Date and Time

In addition to three presidential debates that are scheduled to take place between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, there will also be a debate between the Vice presidential candidates, Mike Pence and Tim Kaine on Tuesday October 4 at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.

The debate will be divided into nine 10 minute segments and thus will last a total of 90 minutes.

Each segment will begin with a question posed by the moderator and both candidates will have 2 minutes to respond and the rest of the 10 minute period will be used for a debate of the topic.

It will be the only debate between the vice presidential candidates this time round, so it will be the only chance for undecided voters to see if they are swayed by what they see.
