Latest Polls Donald Trump July 26 2016

A new poll shows that Donald Trump has made up some ground on Hillary Clinton. The real estate mogul who has been trailing Clinton for months in national polls, pulled to within only 3 percentage points of the former First Lady and Secretary of State.

The online poll with a margin of error of 4 points, showed that Clinton has 41% support among likely voters compared to 38% for Trump.

This tightening of the race comes after Mike Pence was selected as Donald Trump`s running mate and the speeches at this year`s RNC.

On Monday the DNC begins and it will be the Democrat`s chance to "fight back" against Trump and the Republican Party. Voters will also get their first real look at Clinton`s VP pick, Tim Kaine.

According to the RealClearPolitics running average of all polls conducted between 5-20 July, Clinton maintains her lead over Trump, albeit a slight one 44 - 41.3 nationally.
