Poll Florida Trump vs Clinton September 2016

One of the key battleground states, or swing states, in every election is Florida.

Many commentators believe that it is key that Donald Trump triumphs in this state in order to have an opportunity to be victorious in this year`s race.

Hillary Clinton has had a lead here for the last few months, however in recent weeks Trump appeared to be closing and now indeed, according to the RealClearPolitics average (August 19- September 12) shows the real estate mogul with a slender lead.

RealClearPolitics Average

Donald Trump  45.1%
Hillary Clinton  44.4%

This comes on the back of the two polls showing Trump with a 4 point lead in the state.

CNN/ORC (September 7-12) Sample 788 Likely Voters, Margin of Error 3.5%

Donald Trump  50%
Hillary Clinton  46%

Polls Trump vs Clinton August 30 2016

Within the last week Republican nominee for President, Donald Trump has embarked on a strategy of attracting more ethnic minority support, mainly black voters, but is it a case of too little, too late?

Many commentators have long been waiting for Trump to pivot more to the center, in order to attract a greater share of independents and possibly disaffected Sander`s supporters. However no such pivot has really occurred until now.

Black people tend to vote overwhelmingly democrat and despite more attempts by the Republican party to reach out to this demographic over the last few years, hitherto nothing has been successful.

Trump`s main message to African Americans appears to be that he will lower crime within their communities and bring back jobs from other countries.

The current running average on RealClearPolitics shows that Hillary Clinton continues to hold a healthy lead over Donald Trump based on the last 6 reliable polls.

Hillary Clinton  48.3%
Donald Trump  42.3%

Indiana Republican Polls GOP April 27 2016 Trump, Cruz

Voters in the state of Indiana will finally have their opportunity to express their opinions over which republican primary candidate best represents their views when they go to the polls on May 3.

The state, which comes late in the primary process and would usually be of little importance, has now been brought to centre stage, given the delicate nature of the race.

There are a total of 57 delegates that will be on offer and the state adopts a winner-take-all approach to their allocation. Meaning that whoever wins will walk away with 100% of the delegates.

According to the latest RealClearPolitics Average (April 18-22) it is Donald Trump who is making the running in the state, although his lead is not as impressive as it has been in some states. The businessman is at 39.3% followed by Cruz 33% and Kasich 19.3%.

Should Trump be victorious here then he will certainly maintain his hopes of obtaining the 1,237 delegates alive.
